Neighborhood Park

Ashley Carnes, Park Chair

The Greystone Estates South Homes Association Park is located just south of 83 rd Street on Rosehill Road. The park has ample space for a family event and can be reserved by any resident in good standing with homeowner’s dues. This is a private park, and it exists for the sole use of
Greystone Estates South homeowners and their guests. We as homeowners are responsible for the park’s appearance, maintenance, and legal liabilities.

The park closes at 10:00 pm. Anyone in the park after that time is trespassing unless the board has granted special approval in writing.
The wooded park features a nice playground with swings, a climbing gym, and two slides along with a smaller playset. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, and a large fireplace-style grill for picnicking. Parties for children must be chaperoned by adults for their safety and the
security of GESHA property.

Reservations are necessary for all parties in the park. Request your party via the Google Calendar or email the parks chairperson at geshaparkreservations@gmail.com well in advance of your requested date to notify the Part Chairperson of your request.

Clean up is the responsibility of the user. Please put all trash in trashcan. The pavilion floor should be swept and the tables arranged the way they were found. No glass bottles are allowed in the park.

GESHA homeowners have a very nice facility for use throughout the year. Others think we have a nice facility and use it at will. To help control this problem, the board asks that if you ever see suspicious activity, any vandalism or other inappropriate activity at the park, please call 911 and notify the Lenexa Police Department.
